water in the crank shaft sensor connector..... what a joke..

the day before i changed..

plugs
coil pack
ignition amp..
water temp senor
air temp sensor..
checked the readings on the tps...

didnt think it would be crank sensor as the engine did run... and i didnt check the connector because i always keep it taped right up in case it leaks... but water must have got through the tape.... i cant believe it i didnt need any parts ive given all those bits back to my friends now..

at least it was something simple. Taping stuff up can be mixed blessings unless you regularly redo it as youve found out once water spray works its way in it sits there held in by the rest of the tape.

always the way ain't it, crank sensor went on mine but the car would run until warmed up then it'd play up.

All good as far as i can tell, just about to shoot up there now to make a little collection
