Not letting you have a gun is probably a good idea Warren, what with all the drama you have round yours!! 
There's only one competition shoot where we do that and it involves a team of 4 carrying a 75kg dummy and two ammo boxes from the 300m point to the 600 point, bomb up 50 rounds (55 for the lsw gunner). You get 6 mins for that which is plenty of time. Then you fire and manouvre all the way down to 100m. Dropping off the ammo boxes at the 500m point (to simulate resupply). Apart from the effort, a fairly easy shoot though.
