  • Standard engine - performance mods?

Would I benefit by putting a pair of bd10's in my saff along with verniers?

And swap for a eeciv inlet with a spacer?

Or would it not be noticeable?

Current spec is t34.63 500 cooler, 55lbs and tube torque exhaust

The standard cams are awesome, personally I would change the turbine hosing to a 0.48, have it properly mapped and spend forever going sideways . The best thing to spend your money on would be handling improvements (beam, Koni's, AB springs, 3dr hubs, poly bushes and decent brakes).

350bhp in a 1250kg rwd car is mega fun on the road, especially if you retain smallish wheels (no bigger than 17s).

IMO, the 0.63a/r housing spoils a 2wd Sapphire as a ROAD car.

Nordschleife, there's only two barriers to worry about - the ones on the left and the ones on the right .

Why would you say it spoils them mike ??

Mike, I've thought about putting a 48 on. And it's also going for a proper map. It's on 18s which have taken the good drive away a little but I love it on them lol. Thanks for the input

          Andy ,
Do you still prefer your saff to drive over the escort ?

or did the new rear end on the escort sort it out.

The new rear end sorted that instantly

only thing I prefer is the seating position in the saff

Because it takes the edge off the response.
