Stack fuel gauge

Hi
does anybody know if a stack fuel gauge works
with the STD fuel sender in the tank on a cossie
escort it as a custom set up but it appears not to be
working just fitted mine with a st700 dash I want
to use the stack fuel gauge hope somebody knows

They work with the standard sensors, but can be a pain in the arse to setup correctly.
