Pay extra to have the flywheel surface ground, will be a HUGE improvement on the action of the clutch, as it removes the raised hot spots that are created by clutch slip and will prevent the clutch from "grabbing". Will only cost £30-40 extra and is a MUST IMO .

                      Kelv,

I did see the reply and will be ordering the new clutch soon, as stated in my other post it has only just started to slip once the boost comes in, so i am looking to get it done Asap but need to know roughly what i should be looking to pay to get the job completed. If it means i have to travel (Within reason) to get the clutch fitted by someone who is recommended then i will.

Mark's is one hell of a decent offer and you would be mad to not take him up on it, just a shame its so far away

i can check with my guy in the morning as to when he can fit it in and how much and report back to you if you wish.

                              Kelv,

Im truly grateful for the kind offer of Mark but by time i pay the juice money up there, its probably going to cost me that to get it fitted localish.

If its not to much trouble then could you get a price from your friend please
