Water hose?

Looking at my header tank (standard) it has two ports one of them i think goes to the turbo for the cooling. But i dont want to run water through the turbo, so what do i do with the hose?

I take it the bottom hose goes down to the rad. The top hose goes ??????

Block it up with a bolt and put a hose clip on it

it will need to be connected to something so the water can circulate it goes to the the thermostat housing where the turbo water feed pipe would go originally

I thought that water needed to circulate through the header tank? with only one hose this can't happen? Surely the hose should connect to wherever the other hose to the turbo goes?

doh i was thinking of what was done to my series 2

You should have a large port at the bottom that goes to the rad, and then 2 x smaller ones at the top on an after Market tank or 1 on the standard.
One of which would be the return from the thermostat or turbo if you run it water cooled, the other would be used as the top vent from a water swirl pot on the aftermarket tank.

Ok so that hose needs to go to the thermostat housing where the turbo feed would normally go.
