AS title, given we're quite a varied bunch on here, thought it may be worth asking for a ball park figure, as this is all completely new to me...
Clare and I have found a house that we like (read i've found a garage that I quite like, with a garage, and lads room attached), and are now going through getting all of our stuff in order...
Fortunatley we're both first time buyers, and the house is < 250k, so we're under the stamp duty threshold...
How much would you guys expect to be paying in solisitors (sp?) fees? Only quote I've had this far comes in at just shy of a grand, which sounds like the sort of number I'd expect, but any advice you guys are able to offer would be grand!
