A Carrera GT that was attending Gatebil was keyed outside the hotel during the night, RS500 grilles have been stolen off cars at the show and my friend had the plugs on the whaletail on his 3 door stolen while he was sleeping inside it. Safe? My Escort stays at home in the garage. The show is worth a visit though, but I prefer to keep my Escort in the garage for events like this due to above reasons.

oh, such a shame. really bugs me that people are there to see and appreciate the cars but some have to ruin it by doing stuff like that. mije wont be going near it then.i'd go fooking mental if someone done anything like that to mine and i caught them.they wouldnt do it again put it that way.hard to steal with no working fingers

i will be doing as many as i can next year, did not do many this year at all

Depending on when Goodwood revival falls next year i should be doing Super Rally car day down at Coombe as it is possibly the best show out there at the moment Bought tickets for it this year then realised the dates clashed with GW R and had tickets for that as well doh!:heanbang:

I'm up for the ring! I need to convince her in to letting me go again as last time we went the shed was towed off! (She was driving it as well not just me!! I wasn't even in the car when she killed it!)

I'd love to do Gatebil but probably wouldn't get away with that! Although I'm willing to try if there is a big group going!

What sort of price is the track action JHS, as I already know the hotels, food and booze is extortionate!

250 kroner for a car on show/in the show area, then another 350 to go on track. Divide by 11 gives you £
The problem with Gatebil and driving on track is that you have to get up early to be able to get on track, they sell out of places quickly. And you cant book it in advance, you'll also spend most of the day queing up to get on track Once you're on track you'll probably end up being stuck behind some fibreglassed up 200SX or something drifting everywhere.
So basically, Gatebil is best to watch.
