  • Getting the bottom spocket off

Trying to do a bottom crank seal and for the life of me I can't get the bottom sprocket off.
You know the one that is ment to come off just by pulling it off with your fingers.

Any of you boys had this problem?? How the hell did you get round it.

Luckily the times ive ever had to remove one the engine has been out so ive just beaten the shit out of it with a copper hammer. But there is a puller on ebay now for £15 mate.

yes they can be an absolute pain in the arse, had these at times on there so hard that have used the ally front cover as a pushing platform and had cranks in the presses !

try some penetration oil round it, and you maybe able to pry it off
