we have had a suggestion of trying to organise a forum trip over there next year, I will be putting something up soon to see if we can all agree on a date to go

I'll join too. The Nurburgring is only about a hour and a half away from me

Ben... If possible try to see if you can include also a weekday date possibility... I know it's much more convenient for everyone to drive on weekend's but going on the turistenfahrt during week is much a more pleasant experience of the Nordschleife IMHO... Just a thought..

Just got back from a trip over there, we go on the DFDS overnight ferry from North Shields to Amsterdam then its about 4hrs down to the ring, we also stop at Sliders, weve known Bren for years and as 99 Jon says he's totally chilled but boy is he quick, other than that Adeneau is a good place to find a B+B and its right on the ring, i would be keen if a forum trip comes off next year

sailing from hull is probably the most central option on P&O's mini cruise boat - again overnight and docks in rotterdam, been on this one a few times now and have to say its a right boat!! (certainly a lot better than the stena sea trader which goes from hollyhead to dublin, which i honestly think will snap in two any day as its that rusty!!)
