  • Really Pissed Off...

    One of the first people through on the phone this morning to O2 about upgrading to the IPhone 4, speak to a bloke who tries to put me through to the upgrade dept. He speaks to the upgrade dept and they say because I upgraded through Carphone Warehouse 2 years ago I have to visit an O2 or Carphone Warehouse shop to upgrade!

    Carphone Warehouse got no stock due to supplier issue and O2 have ques outside every shop. If I was told this the past 4 times I rung this week I would of been first in the que.

    I ask to speak to the upgrade dept and his hung up on them to talk to me!!!!! Told him Im not hanging up the phone till I get a IPhone 4.

    Bloke tries putting me through again and hangs up after 5 minutes.

    Fucking USELESS!! Really fucked off as now there is no chance I will get an IPhone 4 till the next batch are delivered to stores and I have been waiting for this phone since I heard the rumours 4 months ago.

    What makes it worse is the Mrs is outside an Orange shop and is guaranteed a phone as they have 7 in stock and 7 people in the queue

      Im not too fussed about the phone tbh as I expected to not get through this morning, but to get through and then get told "You have to go into store" and then get hung up on is a display of very poor customer service Ive been with O2 for 10 years and have not had a problem till today!

              Oh so you dont wanna hear about all the shit 3G signal issues with Orange then either! CPWH told me about that, as I went in and had a moan about the coverage I was getting, I couldn't work out if it was the phone or Orange.

                Looks like the mrs will be taking hers back then reception issues are 99% of the time network provider. I've been fine with O2 for years and reception is very good.

                  I was working in St Helens this morning at 05.00 and there were queues outside the O2 shop waiting for their iPhone 4.

                  What a load of pussies I want the iPhone 1st!!!! so I can show all me mates and then get bored of it after a day!!

                  I've got the 3G and can't be arsed to upgrade to the new iPhone. Will cancel my subscription to O2, who are pants by the way cos I phoned them the other day about having my phone replaced due to it being broken and they said they're out of fooking stock!!!

                  So I said i'll have the 3Gs instead, nope cos I have the 3G they wont upgrade it. RETARDS!!!!

                  When I get it replaced i'll jailbreak it and then use company's simm card in it!! Fooking O2!!

                    If your still in warranty go direct to Apple. They will exchange with a brand new phone straight away.

                    Had a 20 minute conversion with a supervisor on the help desk at 12:45pm and was told they had no stock and nothing they could do. I asked for her manager and she came back after 5 mins saying Apple have just emailed them saying more stock will be available this afternoon and I am having one of them

                      I have the Iphone 3G jailbroken running appsync 4 with IOS4 running on it, not interested in the additional video/camera features of the Iphone 4, its good enough

                        I pre-booked my iphone 4 last week with a £5 deposit, i'm with orange and wanted a white one. I was told i could turn up anytime between 7am and 10pm to pick it up (from lakeside, 45min drive) and no queing, i got there at 10am to be told the white ones were not available but i could have a black one-no major problem really. Then i'm told that they were still waiting on their delivery and they would be in anytime between then and 3pm, i was livid as i had to be at work for 3 and was told it would be a quick 5 min job to upgrade. to cut a long story short the phones arrived at half 12ish and then i got sorted straight out-then i get home to find that i can't use the phone till monday as i still had 4 days of my contract to go phones 4 u forgot to tell me that

                        I felt sorry for the O2 people though, most had been there since 6am and were having major issues getting upgrades sorted out-and they were pre-ordered phones as well. Never known so much hype over a phone-it better turn out to be the bollox!!

                          Only Phones 4 U were taking pre orders, which I found out on Wednesday so was too late. Sounds like you had a nightmare as well mate. You should still be able to use the phone, but without the phone function

                              I didn't think I was going to get through to O2 and get the phone, but when you do get through and told "You cannot upgrade" and then get hung up on you do get a bit pissed off. Especially when you finally get through again and get told "We have no stock".

                              But, as promised by the lady I spoke to the phone arrived today
