General Question - Help : Rear quarter window caps

I have just picked up my new red cossy today from SCC Leeds and i have noticed that the 3 black metal window screw covers need replacing on each rear window.How on earth do i get the old ones off without causing any damage to the rear window

i think they screw out m8 like bathroom mirror caps but i could be wrong

easy just screw them out.

if you use some nice smoothish sandpaper and clean them up and then if pitted high build primer and satin black followed by clear laquer they look good again.

Dont think they do screw out, 99% sure they pop off and are a twat to get back on. Should still be able to get them from ford, same as ford ka ones.

they are held in by a screw from the inside

go on ebay and buy some black alloy ones end of the probs nige


oh im talking about the hole thing if you want to change the outer cap only they are a coont

screw a longer bolt from the inside all the way throuh it will pop the outer cap off then remove the whole thing then knock new cap on with a mallet

just pop the rubber covers off inside the car,unscrew and remove the bolts complete with cap,put the bolt in a vice,remove old cap with grips or similar and tap new one on,job done
