Not good the alternator is not putting enough charge in my battery only 13.5Volts at idle and when everything is switched on just to 12.4Volts

So got to get a new alternator,

These are good in Basildon......... will have one on the shelf or will re-build your old one either to standard spec or to uprated spec if you got a big sound system maybe

Will even chrome plate it for you if you're that way inclined

i had my last one rebuilt,it was loads cheaper that way

went with a mate to a place in harlow today to have his 3dr one done £75 rebuilt can get the number for you if you like

try euro car parts got a gen ford one last week for 90 squid

i asked for mine and i know it small turbo and your is a big turbo but thought they be the same maybe not well 104 before discount and 82 after not sure if that with vat and it was a 90amp one


i will check again on monday when i go to romford one as my m8 works there and he more helpful

I can rebuild them with genuine ford parts if required. Much cheaper and you get your orignial item back, can have them polished or chromed too but an extra 2day wait.
