the wifes fiesta [09 1.4 petrol]has developed a strange problem,when you are driving along at a constant speed it feels like it is holding back every few seconds,it also does it on the overun when your foot is off the throttle,you can sort of feel the engine being strangled,the only way i can describe it is like someone keeps pulling the handbrake on and off
somedays its fine and sometimes its not,it also struggles to accelerate at times too,if you coast along and dip the clutch then everythings seems fine so its not binding brakes or anything stupid like that,any ideas folks?

A 09 car should still be under warranty, take it to the dealer
