  • Cosworth could be F**KED

    Noticed since time attack @ brands (sat in traffic on the hottest day)i have been loosing some water & after Ford Fair i lost some so today i had a look behind the cam cover as thought it was coming from water pump But looks as if its leaking from behind the cam pully on the leftor is just be sprayed about buy the cam belt so iam off to get some engine degresser to clean it all up & see whats what
    Anyone have any ideas

    Mine turned out to be head gasget mate after a lot of messing around

      Paul, its going to be something simple like a gasket which can easily be put right.
      i wouldnt say it was fooked, but may mean your going to get dirty hands tho

          That ain't fooked just a mini project and a good excuse to uprate/clean/powder coat something

                  explain to Helen, that if you need to rebuild the engine, then its easier to take the roof off and have the new one fitted at the same time

                        you should of seen my boiling over ,steam coming out the vents water out the bottom and that was just as i got to the stand got me home ok though

                            Is is the excuse i need to use with clare for me getting a carbon bonnet (that is, taking the engne out over winter!!!)
