Guys I'm needing some advice please on what my engine is worth? Basically I'm giving up converting my mk2 rs2000 to cosworth power (havent started yet, so will just mot the car and sell it too) lost intrest in older cars, So I'm selling off the engine if its worth it.
I bought the engine, took it apart and realised it needed alot of work, so it was sent to JEM engines in falkirk where Eric worked his magic on it.
Head;
The head was porus, so was welded and skimed. It had 16 K-line valve guides fitted and then the valves were blasted reseated and fitted. The whole lot was then chemcally cleaned.
Block; Decked and rebored up a size, chemically cleaned and heat proof painted black.
Pistons; New mahle pistons and rings,
Rods; Resized/honed
Crank; Reground
New bearings supplied to suit the crank / rods.
Whats included.
All of the above
Everything that came off the engine as was directly removed from a car
T3 turbo
Manifolds
All the ancillarys, distributor, alternator etc etc
Flywheel
Standard ECU, yellow injectors
Cams
Intercooler
Radiator
And a T5 Gearbox
All the parts have been cleaned and either painted or ready fo painting,
The engine has not been reasembled, so all could been seen as beeing new / machined.
