  • siemens fuel injectors ?

Any one know what the advantage of a set of siemens injectors are over a set of bosch light blues and which is the equivelent of the blues and do you go low or high impedance when running on a l6 ecu .

Just want to know before i go and buy a set of light blues if siemens would be a better idea .

better spray pattern for one, better to control 4 injectors in one esayer to control and state of the art

I think some of depends on who you're looking to get a chip from. A lot of tuners don't do off the shelf maps for the Siemens - eg you can't get an SCS / Bayjoo chip for them. MSD seemed to be one of the few tuners that did a map.

I bought some Siemens 55s, but have since bought some light blues as I only seemed to hear bad things about MSD maps.

Cheers Dave, Have heard the same thing about MSD chips as had a mate that sent one back as it was so crap.
Looks like a set of bosch light blues for me then as its being mapped by Julian Godfrey Engineering once they have finished with building the engine.

If it's going to be mapped from scratch then I guess you can use the Siemens - I was also told they're a more modern injector with a better spray pattern. But if you need an off the shelf map to get you started, then suggest you talk to Julian Godfrey first and see what they recommend / suggest.
