Tailgate will it fit

Have taken the tailgate of to take to the painters so it only has glass and lock on it, both spoilers have been taken of

My question is will if fit in a car like a Astra? I do hope it does

I'd say no needed a tailgate for my escort and it wouldn't fit in a mondeo estate

I would say yes as i have fitted many different tailgates and doors into hatchbacks. But only a guess

A Mk3/4 escort will fit the tailgate in its boot and it will also fit a mk5 and 3dr one as i have all of them in the back at some point

Ah maybe mk3/4 but my mk5/6 wouldn't go in my escort nor a mondeo estate like I said they're much wider I would imagine

there are some crazy users on here.

i recall a year or so back one user (nameless ) turned up to buy an escos tailgate.... in an escos and wondered why we struggled to try and get it to fit

but then saying that, just 2 days ago another (nameless ) owner turned up to buy my tailgate and bonnet and wanted to fit it all in a saph
