    i never realised that the standard mounts are oil filled,you learn something every day,the hard way anyone got a pr of uprated ones for sale?

      mines perished with age i suppose,i always thought they were a bit squidgy but it never crossed my mind they were oil filled

          I've red somewhere that Vibratechnics have updateded their engine mounts, new design or something. Is this true?

              for those of you who run uprated mounts,what do you have fitted and is there any more road noise/vibration etc? i dont know whether to fit standard or go the uprated route

                Got Vibratech fast road mounts on mine & they are harder than standard but over time they do seem to loosen up.

                      fast road mounts are fine,i originally had the comeption ones on mine and they were harsh,but the fast road ones were great IMO

                        last time I bought a standard one from ford it was about 65 quid.
                        have uprated ones in my race car dunno what make but they are but the whole car shakes!!
                        not bothered tho as it is not a road car after all

                          i have a few good std ones lying about £5 each plus post

                          Built by my self dp motorsport 700.6bhp 520ftlb efr9180 2.4bar m.a.d mapped flat out is the only way
