  • Koni or Bilstein?

I need new rear shocks for my Esc Cos and as I want to send it in to be checked over soon I wanna replace them. Went on GGR website and they have Koni and Bilstein rear shocks available, but Im unsure which would be best for my needs (Using GGR as I have to pay by credit card (Sorry Mike) and they seem the cheapest)

I have no idea what adjustments I will need to make on the Koni's, so will more than likely leave them how they are from the box. I have front Bilsteins, so the rears would match?

Which would be best to use??

Koni, as that is what the Ahmed springs are matched to .

I would change the whole lot myself as mixing old and new isn't advisable.

Thanks Mike, will get them ordered then Why don't you start taking credit cards if you don't mind me asking? I could spend a fortune with you

Rob, my front Bilstein's were refurbed about 4-5 years ago and have covered less than 3000miles since

go stick konis on the back-no matter whats on the front(why bother about the fronts if they are not leaking, how do you mean they need to be matched???_LOL--------bling issue!!!
if you do use billies you may need a blue t shirt to match your suspension (matching issue-

What if the fronts had done loads of miles and had never been refurbed ,and the new backs upset the balance of the car.

I understand exactly what your saying Rob. Why put new rears on if the fronts are worn, may aswell replace it all

I'm only changing my rears as the back end is all light when under breaking. I've replace bushes, diff mount, brakes and springs so next thing is the shocks. My car sat in axle stands with the front in the air for almost 3 years and that snapped my old springs, so assuming it fucked the shocks also.
