Gazz I can send you a copy no problem , I ment stu can turn the comms on the chip , on a msd chip I think the comms are on , but don't quote me , can also send you the drawing to make the loom

I've got copy's and one lead left , I've had it working on Windows 7 with usb to rs232 , and I've got a few xp laptops I was given ,as good for the old dos software , you need the software to switch the comms on in the chip , it's a 2second job with the software , you just click it on on screen , but like I said you need pectel I.E.M.S software , I know stu @ motorsport development does it

Is not needed for the P8 to make the board mod?

I know on a p8 it's a board mod , you have to cut some track and bridge one , got a diagram somewhere, the software only works on l6 and l8

are you sure its right???? There must be big mistake mate... that "upper" is OK..it will cut diagnostic line going over 74HC14....But that bottom is moved!....if you cut that line bottom this 74HC14 you will loose injector 2 command

Finally i solved it today and broke one 4Q4 ecu with that shorting traces....its no needed!!!!

If you will use new SW for cosssie P8....so TX13-14 or TX 14-16 (its written inside .bin) this has implemented FIAT diagnostic code inside....ecu will respond to diagnostic queries without problem. Values are described in fiat P8 document 3.00608 you can download on google.. Just use USB- serial device and set baud rate 7812. vuala...no need to solder or nothing....

Good work , as I said this is what is was given by a respected tuner , who had done the mod a number of times
