i never play a game on easy etc, always straight to hardest setting. and fuck me talk about hard!!! im still struggling to get the times down to qualify above 20th but i can hold a power slide like no one else lol, my mate who is a smooth driver cant believe the pace i have while holding stupid slides
its how i race, always have but im finding it hard to adopt a smoother style.getting there though tbh.

i like it but the pitstops are fucking stupid.i go in in 9th and end up last!! it hold sme back for some reason and the other cars drive through me

Neil, nothing like other Need For Speed games. No free roam, just go straight into races. Being the coppers and ramming other cars off the road is ok, but repetitive. I've got a free XB360, just need to find a controller gonna go looking for NFS Most Wanted and buy it

Cosmo, have a sneaky game and delete the saves. Go to the top of the "Game" section and into Game Data Utility. Delete it from there and I think it's Saved Data Utility for the game save

Had mine reserved since nov.'09. Picking it up in the morning.
I'm a huge fan of the Gran turismo saga. Have all of them since the first.

As far as a steering wheels go the driving force is ok, but if you want a proper one, the logitech g27 is the one to go for.

H-patern shifter AND steering wheel paddles, 3-pedal box, etc

Been drooling over one for quite some time, but it's expensive for a toy.
It's ancester the g25 is quite similar and can be bought used for a lot less now so i'll probably end up going for one of those.

Don't know what it costs in the uk mate, but over here the g27 is sold for nearly €400 (around £340 at the current rate), while it's ancester the g25 was sold for €250 (around £214) but you can't buy it new anymore.
You could always get the g27 from the US, as there it is sold for usd300 (around £190).

By comparison a driving force gt is sold here for €100, so it's a big diference, but believe me when i say it's worth it (if you can afford it of course).

Wow, that price for a steering wheel for a games console is crazy, but then if your serious about gaming it would be worth it

Cosmo, kids come first. Sell your Escort to me for £1000 and you can buy the gaming chair and a decent bucket seat for ya lad

steve.the free roam thing annoyed me anyway tbh. i may go for this a little later down the line,i dunno.

as for wheels, the g27 is far too dear although awesome.and i wouldnt trust a 2nd hand g25 as i dont know what abuse its had tbh. but the g25 wouldve been a tad better for me.

the driving force gt doesnt have paddles which i would like to try and use on f1 tbh

Got mine today and got a Gt5 t-shirt as a gift for having it reserved over a year in that store...

                              Haven't played it yet though.

Still have a race to pass in the Gt5 prologue (s-10) and want to finish it before i put the Gt5 in the console for the first time.

I'm doing this because on Gt4 I did the same without knowing and when i went to play the game for the first time a warning appeared telling that since i had Gt4 prologue complete I was able to transfer 100.000 credits from prologue to Gt4. That meant skipping the annoying begining where you have to start with a cheap car doing races where you don't earn much. Started with a r34 skyline and tuned it a bit too, right from the start.

Really don't know if it's the same with Gt5 but since it's only a race to pass (even if it's a bit hard) i think I''l hold my urge of starting untill i finish that race...
