      Mark

Despite what some say these Dyno's do seem pretty accurate as some of the guys on sunday with modified cars made a point of not saying what they were expecting and they were all bang on the money

When Charlie popped my bonnet he said is this a Mark Shead or maybe an Ahmed ? I said no it's a Harvey Gibbs and he said 'no...... don't know the name' but then i guess you are the Cossie man in the South .......... still, he knows the name now

Yeah, and it's at least 5 years old now and some good miles under it's belt and no sign of getting tired if this is anything to go by does give you a confidence boost when it does the proper number....... and as Jimbo just said to me it's nice that the curve doesn't dip down at the top

Think we were all very disappointed not to see that Big Cat get a run......... should have seen the owners face when Charlie the operator was scratching his chin and starting to say things like 'well, we could try and run it without strapping it down' his thinking was that with it being rather long geared as it's a 220mph car he could build the power slowly lol............. he then came to his senses given that being a Turbo there might be a sudden increase and it could jump out of the rollers, either that or he checked his insurance policy and decided a claim for an XJ220 launching out the door might be quite painfull

While we are talking about the XJ220 ,how do they get towed or pulled onto

a recovery wagon with nothing to hook onto ?

or do they never break down ?
