  • Ayrton Senna drives a Gartrac G3 and a Cozzeh

    TV Gold this is,back in the day Rally Car magazine (if your not over 30 you'll never of heard of it) got some geezer called Senna and a OO Aah rally driver from Hereford called Phil Collins and a few other fellas with cars and did a test.

    i have the actual magazine in my collection from then.

            my rs2000 was in car and car conversion,i loved the mag i did. It was the sort of mag that featured paul baileys rs2000 with a rs500 donkey in back in ooo say 1989. ground braking stuff back then. I'd of said it was like a serious enthuisiasts magazine witha slight bit of humour in. I liked Bambers pics,the mexico they built and loads of stuff.

            in the clip above you can hear phil collins crack a joke with ayrton senna,somehow i can't see a good honest national rally driver now cracking a joke with kimi riokkenen.

            everybody remembers aytron drove a 4dr but no one remembers the gartrac

              yes mate, PROPER mag...i have few copies floating about here......quite simply just THE mag for the die hards.......unfortunatly then came along flamers and neons and the whole car world went to shit....lol

                  yeh where can you find bambers pics,he did some amazing pics of what he thought say a escort maxi kit car would look like and drew it in the style of a tamiya box. thats skill that is plus loads of his drawings were topical of the moment haha

                          of course.. doesn't he do the drawings for autosport that i buy sometimes too.....i just rember the good old days.....if anyones building a time machine soon....book me in for a seat please!....these diluted forms of motorsport and car design/homologation just do me in!

                              Used to run a GAA lump in it.
