  • Why has my Volt meter stoped working in the car

    Just gone and fired up the motor and noticed that the volt meter isnt working???

    Any idea why it has stopped as it was working fine a last week when i started it

    Relay would be my first port of call; think it's R4, it's a yellow one

      Thanks will look tomorrow and advise if it has cured the problem.

        check the wires off the alternator, I used to burn mine and this would stop it working.

        I used to replace the burnt wire and it was working again

          There's also a fuse for just the voltmeter so you want to check that as well

                  On the diagram mate. Fuse 2 & 19 though.

                    Mine was playing silly buggers on the way home from Norfolk today (the battery was flat though as i left the interior light on for 2 days )
