I would try swapping the fuse box as you have one - ten minute job.

Check the fan isn't seized by spinning it round.

If the blowers fail on all 3 speeds, it's usually the fusebox. I just fixed my birds mk5 with the same problem, took the fusebox out and resoldered any dodgy looking connections. I did find one bad looking one and I reckon that was it.

If the fans fail on 1 & 2 then it's the resistor pack on the fan thats gone.
    Cheers, Kev.

        Hi Will,
Urm , this is an honest question, whats MSN????
Come on I'm 45 and only use a computer for the Guest house. I didn't start posting on PH until May this year. Been using PH for years and years.
I do know how to use a welder and spray gun though.
        You can always e-mail: enquiries@sunnysidebb.co.uk

Frank my mate repaired a escort cosworth shell that had been hit hard in the side (by a tree) for sean and adrian farrell who owned Welsh Area Rally Spares WARS,that didn't have id from memory as it was off a rally car that was shelled and in them days you didn't cut up escorts so it got made to have it.
