ive had my new escort cossie 3 days now & in that time its decided to break down after 24hours & wont even start.i cant even ajust the driver,s seat to get it in the right position[seems to not release].& im not even stressed about it,all i keep doing is looking at it from every angle & just chuckle to myself & still cant beleive ive got one in my garage!!, i cant stop polishing it even though its not been anywhere ,sitting in the front seats thinking wow wee cant wait for summer time,opening the bonnet & admiring all the spec r goodies & im even looking forward to ordering a new fuse box tomorrow as when they type the chassi number in they,ll no ive got an escort cosworth & im one of the elite!!...i think as im on the sick i have got a bit to much time on my hands, but after the 18year wait i just cant stop smiling & neither can my wife!!!!!!!!!!...am i a weirdo or is this normal.... .....

only if you sit in the seat making engine noises and dumpvalve sounds, with moving back and fourth in the seat as if te car is on boost and when changing gears you should class yourself as a wierdo lol

but then its excitment you ahve and if its been tehe car you have wanted for years the exciting will still be there when you can have some fun driving it, even with the faults you have had once they are sorted you will be even more excitied

im still excitied owning mine ive had it 2 years and ive never actually driven it as i know when i do finish the thing i will be excited for a long time

completely normal and one feeling that will never go away, they may cause a lot of pain and heart ache not to mention money to fix, but once you get that first drive after its all done you soon forget

Once you owned one it will possess you. I tried to sell up and forget but I always ended up buying another one again. This is my 4th EsCos so far

normal, ive had two now (one was a project i never drove) and i swapped my last one for a 3dr cossie two months ago. My sierra is already destined to be sold very soon for my next lol.
