Is anyone a compulsive collector?

I always have to be on the hunt for something, collected so many werid and wonderful things over the years

I always want what I can't get and move heaven and earth to get it and then when I've got it I'm not bothered

I've collected dance records the most, hardcore, jungle, garage etc pretty much only after one tune now and I'm well happy

Used to collect video game machines and pinballs had nearly 20 at one stage Street fighter 2, Final Fight, Golden Tee, Centipede, Smash TV, Mortal Combat 1&2, missle command, Track and Field, Nintendo playchoice 10, Neo Geo's.. my favorite was a massive twin driver game called gti club...
Only got one machine now SF2

Used to collect NES games, Tamiya Escort cossie shells (got them all) Coca cola Yo, Yo's (still got the gold one )

Probably started when I used to collect Garbage Pail Kids stickers when I was a kid

Then theres all the fucking about with cars over the years collecting parts, compiling the monte list etc

Latest thing seems to be these little diecast cars from the Disney movie Cars, my son loves them, keep finding myself sneeking down the shops to find him another one he doesn't have at least there only a couple quid each unlike the other stuff

I'm I just nuts? please tell me there's other nutters like me out there

You ARE nuts Paul! I've got some err different collections of things, live vintage farm and agricultural machinery but nothing like all those ittle bits and bobs!

Standard rims, RL7's, Speedline mags, OZ Mags, Monte wheels, Comp 6 spokes

Are those Speedline's Mag!? The same one's as Frank Spencer has got on his mallard!? I liked those, those and the RL7's!!

Ahh right, the RL's looked better than the Speedlines for me though

I think I know where I can get a set of RL7's in 18's, would be wicked! I'm also still umming and arring about Cromodora's Paul!!

it depends what you want to collect, i did go through a stage of collecting diffeent kinda of toys from the 80s lol but for some reason i stuck to collecting transformer toys, gay i know, but i just sold 90% of my collection and it bought me the escort cosworth and cleared 2.5k of all my debts i had lol

i still have one of the most expensive one to get hold of, like £500 plus it is, but ill keep it as it can only go up in value, ill proberbly start again in the new year, but get them as mint as i can as cheap as i can as i know its a good investment for future as people sem to always want these toys its unreal lol

but not many people can say they bought a escort cosworth by selling a hsit load of toys lol

i laso collect other shit called macross and robotech again 80s but these i will always keep as they were on available in japan and i love my japanese shit

Cool, My uncle bought me back a Purple jet fighter Decepticon transformer back from the US when I was a kid never saw another one in the uk thou, think it got a tad over played with thou

News flash Paul I had Thrust, Starscream and Ramjet (could never find Dirge - but then I never remember him being a G1).

God do I wish they didnt get burnt down with the folks house. Also had a large collection of star wars stuff..........

But after all that, I never collected anything else again. My missus wanted me to collect them duck things but decided she wanted me to buy them all... Needless to say, shes only got 9.
