Obviously it would be date dependant for everyone getting the time off work etc. Also adding a poll to choose between Wales and the Lakes.

Just an idea, Lancashire RS Owners Club are holding a track day and show at the Anglesey Circuit on Sunday May 22nd. Could tour through Wales on the Saturday and finish off in Anglesey for a blast round the track?

              Here's the thread:

Out of interest Dave, what do you know if anything about the Lakes Tour........ i.e is it a single overnighter or more, what sort of mileage is covered and do you know if they always use the same accomodation

Assuming it happens atall, if it should be Wales what i have in mind would involve people getting into Wales friday late afternoon early evening to hang out in a nice hotel stopping overnight ready for the saturday which would be 270 miles of driving taking in Snowdon, Lake Bala,Betws-y-Coed and the Evo Triangle then heading back to the same hotel for another over nighter.

Sunday would be a half day doing 130 miles taking in the Brecon Beacons national park and the Black Mountain road then stopping for lunch before heading off for home.

Cost would be approx £250 per person and that would include accomodation 2 tour guides in their own cars, sat-nav files for those that can use them or printed route notes and maps for those that don't and portable radio's.

Dinner on first night not included and i'm not sure about breakfast......... think it's included but will check

The hotel is a known one and has been used before and parking is secure.

I might be in, depends when its on the cossie might be finished

If you do end up comming to north wales and want to stay overnight the cars could all be kept at our farm, then theres a premiere in 5mins down the road Weve got more classic fords than a museum at ours so its safe enough

This is exactly what I was thinking really. As said earlier it doesnt bother me wether is wales or the lakes, just wanted to gauge opinions. If we get around 15 serious people intersted at this stage, I'll make it more formal and get it organised.

Ive also done a quiz with a prize for the biggest Escort cossie bore!

Sounds like a nice place and a good stopping point.
