I took a few pictures of this car during Rally Legend in san marino last October but I'm not sure if I have any of the engine bay. I took a few of the Martini (ex. Cunico) car too and this I'm sure I have engine bay pics too. Let me know if you are interested and I can have a look at what I have.

i don't understand what you mean about grey under the bonnet do you mean colour of paint or the injectors ?

also ford motor company owned this car as late as about 2003 when i saw the very car at a ford show in the United Kingdom. I was talking to the Ford employee who brought it from Fords HQ and was there to keep a eye on it and he was telling me the engine was at Mountune for a rebuild. I noticed it was sitting high and the car had its original livery still and bumps and bruises that proper works escorts carry.

i think you mean that francois got the car as a golden handshake for driving for ford yes ??

well like i say unless francois left it at ford boreham it was still Fords or in fords care years after he finished driving for ford. Mountune will have knowledge of the engine build as they can not of done many rebuilds on works escorts for ford motor company when the escort group a was finished well by then.
