    Hi as above.
Have you broken one, any details would be great. ie power set up uf the car or were you rallying, doing motor sport.
What are they like to live with.

Is your Gen 2 Doughty straight cut on all gears ?........ as he does one with just 2nd & 3rd straight and the rest standard........... that may suit you with it being quiet in the remaining gears.......... and when you are on a charge the noise won't matter as everything else will be making a racket

Its SC input shaft, 2nd & 3rd & 4th straight through with 5th standard and 1st shares the same gear cut as reverse so its also standard. So is noisy in all gears but especially in 3rd and 4th.

Depends wat u want, I went for a lude as its pretty unbreakable and worth the power I will be runn ik ng I need a good box. Bara need "servicing"once a yr the pete boxs seem good but not seen one been used hard over 500 hp. The opliger one is basically 2k plus fitting now ots not been majorly "tested" and I just think the std cossie gearing is wank so for a couple of k extra I knew the lude eas far better.i think you should stick with the pete box personally.....

Look that the Opplinger not make the gearbox ,it made from Colussi,I know the firs type has some problem, but now they're ok,I never use 1,I can do my opinion.-
