Check Your Driving Licence Expiry...

Just saw some Police thing on FIVE and someone's Driving Licence had expired. He had his car towed away and paid £150 to have it released and produce his licence at nearest station.

I checked mine and its 2014, but the Mrs is July 2011, so if we never saw this/checked she could of been faced with her car impounded and a fine!

I remember reading this on PassionFord a few years back or I would never of known where to check.

So please check yours to be safe

My mrs had to get hers renewed last year, they write to you.

Mines 2048 and has been since I passed in 1996.

It's the card part with the photo on that expires not the paper part.

Card is only valid for 10 years as it has a photo on it and in 10 yrs time you will look a little bit older.

Check the expiry date on the CARD PART.

yes my photo had expired but all the stuff on the license is still well/was still in date
