I had an Austin Maestro once, jeez it was bad.
No power, the seats were terrible, it was ugly and the gear change mechanism kept on breaking.

eh Mr K i once bought a Tata ,it had a turbo diesel merc engine and had been in honestly about 200 sales at me local auctions and i heard the car was gonna be sold and no one else realised or beleived it after so long as the auctioneer can get carried away and tell a few porkys all the time.... so i bid and bought it and then found out it was a 1 owner with history so on ebay it went the same day and sold no sweat.

                      Fiat Punto GT

Bought for £6000, 4 years old. After 1 year of ownership the drivers window packed up and was held up by wood, headgasket failed and was bodged together by me (No torque wrench used, when oil stopped flowing out the block I left it ), exhaust was blowing, gearbox exploded and took 6-8 weeks to replace under warranty by Fiat and I got some 16's with tyres too big for the car, so had 2 people in the back and drove to Southend to wear the tyres away

                        Suzuki Samarai was my worst.

It wouldn't go over 100kph, was so cold in the winter I gave the passenger a can of cooking fuel, the engine blew up and after I put a new engine in it, I rolled it.

                        Junk

                          mitsubishi carisma.

how they can call a car "carisma" when it was so dull and boring is beyond me

                          did this to it though:

then rolled it into a ditch a few weeks later thank god for gap insurance

Luckily I didn't own it, but when I was 19 I had an XR2 that needed to be serviced and the local garage gave me an Austin Princess as loan car - it is the most HATEFUL thing I have EVER driven in all my life.

Every time you selected a gear, you felt like it had been forced in without a clutch, the steering wheel was like a bus one, about 10mm thick and the steering was so light, you weren't sure if it was even connected to anything . The only thing good about it was the brakes .

I can see the craze hitting the cossie world now. "austin princess brake upgrade blamed for hundreds of rare cosworth car crashes"
