  • removed the whale tail today...

well decided to take the rear spoiler off to day & had a bit of a nightmare as i thought there was only 5 bolts holding it on but ive found out there was 9 so after a bit of head scratchin me & my mate got it off in the end, bad news is i scratched a bit on the rear quater so my advice is dont wear a belt when removing the spoiler.. [good job he,s the sprayer & he can repair my damage!!].. anyway good news is, no rust at all so all good there & its now ready to be taken to the spray shop on wednesday [providin i get my cover note paul so i can tax it!!!] to have the rear hatch, bace of spoiler, bonnet, front bumper, front wings, morretts & a gud mop over so it should all be gleaming for the summer shows...yee ha....took a few pic,c so ya can see how naff it looks without the spoiler.. hopefully ill stick some more pic,sup when i get the car back a week later nice & shiney!!!!

be careful when refitting as not to tighten up stem bolt to tight or you will crack the bottom end of the stem as i found out last year

broom you poor poor man as i can see the road you are on and it will end in you not driving the car polishing it for all it's worth and worrying about rain and not being able to drive your car to a show unless it's sunny with the wind from the north and the moon in the right part of the sky and god knows what else and put the upper spoiler on

OH FUCK WHAT WAS THAT NOISE
