fitting a different gear nob to mt75 lever

i dont like the original gear nob on the mt75 and it really doesn't suit the stripped out track look,

i have removed the old gear nob and the plastic piece it went on so now i just have the hollowed out section remaining,



obviously i will have to keep the lift up part so what have you guys done when fitting a different gearnob? and what one did you go for?
did you just run a die over hollowed metal part then tap a gear nob to suit?

check ford official sets at Richbrooke site.....i have one of those..looks ok...

theres loads of aftermarket ones you can fit,you just need one for the lift up reverse and they are held in place with an allen headed grub screw
