Getting back to some sort of normal state that would allow me to go shopping without panic attacks would be good,Altho I make an effort to do this every Sunday! Leaves me grumpy and irritable for the rest of the day.
I took Taekwondo up shortly after the rest of the family started, to work on the confidence and although I have become familiar with the class it still only extends that far, We are starting a ten week slot in the Gym from January under docs orders to try and lift things further << Yes I appreciate the irony in that statement I still have a lot of difficulty seeing me start a job drawing in the pay that we will need to replace the insurance payments and DLA and I have further difficulty seeing me cope with it without it having a knock-on effect on my family, I didn't really know my kids until after the breakdown!

I did actually post this once before in another topic and then deleted it quickly as I was embarrassed and know how some people regards me as a "sponger" especially when they go to work every day and see me taking the kids to school or working out in the garage seemingly without a care in the world.

Chas....its a bitch aint it..fortunately my other half helps in a big way without her i wouldnt be doin the businesses!

My drug in question is xanax (class c) works within 10 mins and works as alcohol without the hangover or stupidness unless you take too muchif you mix it with alcohol apparently you really dont know what you did or said so the computer will be shut down in that circumstance....I will not mix it can cause death apparently as both are cns depressants and can cause respiratory failure if you combine too much.

The plan is to find the right dose do the things like a normal person can do then gradually ween off once i am readjusted..could take 4weeks could take 4years or could be forever.

chas i have taken it before as i said,its pretty potent....but desperate situ's need despertate measures...me and the doc have come to the conclusion its the only thing thats gonna help and alcohol will do far more damage,as you say i just gotta becareful

Phil - fair play for putting your thoughts into the keypad and letting strangers know... it can sometimes help telling complete stangers stuff that you wouldnt tell your mates... sort of gets it off your chest into the open.. my other half has had a few years of panic attacks - and like you say - she says you think you are gonna die. I have had to calm her down on numersous occasions in the past - and is a little freaky - thankfully they have abeited now.. was due to high blood pressure from a pregnancy 4 years ago when she had a ceserean. (?) ..sadly the bab died four days later... sad but sort of expected.. so I know a little of what youre saying...
