  • 205 BLOCK

am about to put a engine for sale and i am unsure of its spec so just removed the cam cover to take a look to see cams ect,

are these long studs as only fitted to 6 so would have thought if it where arp stud and nut kit they would have done all 10 as i didnt thin k you could long stud a 205 block

and any idea what inlet cam this is

    thanks for any help

I'm pretty sure long studs are only done to the middle 6 as it's hard to get the head off/on in situ with all the back ones done. Maybe wrong but my old engine had on 6.

205 block cant be long studded unless its an RS500 small core plug block.

ARP sell the stud and nut kit which is probly whats fitted.

I can understand not fitting all 10 stud and nut kit.

          Maybe rs500 block.

Arp studs normally have allen key holes and 16 sided nuts.
Yours look like the sort of nuts you'll use on long studs.

Then again..you can get normal nuts for the studs in most hardware store that'll fit, if you wanted to..
Only real way to tell is to rip the head off I guess..

You don't wanna sell the cams on their own?
