      Gaz,

The Allen key bolts come from the gearbox and bolt onto the donut.

Then the prop bolts onto the other 3 holes on the donut....so the donut can flex when drive is engaged....if you know what I mean lol.

      Dave.

arr im kind of with you now dave as i got a bara gearbox and it already had 3 bolts on it- this now explains my old ones being left over? so does all the 6 holes not get bolts thruw in donut? cheers.

The Allen key bolts go through with a squashed nut on the back and then the tripod end of the prop, that gets nut and bolted onto the other 3 holes in the donut....iirc.

The torque twists the donut out of shape, that's why they crack open.

as said the allen key bolts bolt the doughnut to the propshaft, then the 3 holes left on the doughnut go into gearbox studs that are in the rear out put flange

the poly bushed should be ok, i take it your using washers ffor the bolts aswell?

When using a sierra cos donut, you have to swap the Allen key bolts as there longer as the safes use a thicker donut.

                    Another bit of info.

                              yeah ist simple to do

those allen key bolts go through prop, then into doughnut with nuts and washers on doughnut end, you should have 3 holes left in doughnut which slides onto gearbox
