has the bonnet pull ever fell off yours???

decided to take the cover off the car & go 4 a blast tonight & was nearly home when the bonnet pull leaver fell off.... has this happened to anyone else or just me... if so is it easy to put it back as thats my job after work tomorrow.......

Mine broke ones, had a new one. Easy fix

i have tugged on the orange levers before and broke them,now i know when they are going to go snap and can get help opening them up with slight pressure on the bonet itself or by removing the cable and using pliers to tug the nipple and then sort greasing it and the catch up up and bunging it all back again.

You can still get these from ford they are about 8 quid but they are a darker orange than the originals. Dead easy to fit too.
