Pre-preg carbon has to be kept in a freezer and it only has a short life span once out...... If it isn't used within 7 days, it is no longer mallaeable enought to form properly and goes brittle....
Forgot to say, you're pissing in the wind though, as all these companies will want at least a roll (which would do about 100 mirrors ). You're ONLY sensible course of action is to approach a carbon product maker in the hope of obtaining a small piece from their roll.....

mike imnot after pre preg, just normal stuff if possible
its not just mirrors covers ill be doing lol, got some ideas on stuff i want to make, and 4x4 looks better and is proberbly better suited for what i need to make
i was going to say.... pre-preg its easy to get in 4x4 twill.
ring them up and ask for offcuts/2nds. Last time i had 4x4 it was 2nd grade. and the only thing wrong with it is the cotton on the edge which helps hold it together was broken in a few places and so therefore it didnt meet the high standards for aviation but is fine for automotive parts. It doesnt matter to you an I if the edge frays a bit during handling as that bit is going to be on the flange of the part and cut off anyway.
remember you only need 4x4 twill for the visible surface layer. You can use any old carbon weave for the other layers as it cant be seen.
