The block is likely to crack on No. 3 bore and the ARP studs will also crack the block on the pair second in from the front or the back of the block, as it doesn't have sufficient material there to support rigid bolts.

The crank will do well over 450bhp, it is the 205 block that is the issue (hence the strengthening in the RS500 / 4x4 blocks).

No Cosworth block can use ARP studs without cracking in the area I described.....

I would not use a Cometic head gasket if you gave it to me FREE. Just use the WRC one - it works properly!

No YB block works well with ARP's 205 or 200! You are thinking of long studding not arp's.

                I ran just over 450bhp from a 205 block for 3.5years.

.50 bore standard block. I used standard head bolts with a WRC gasket.

Mine ran 440/450 @ 2.4bar on the 0.5 over bored 205 block with a Reinz Grp A head gasket and standard bolts - no issues with the block nor the gasket when the head was removed - the same engine when reinstalled will have a GT3076 strapped to it

People have been doing it for years, the pinto lads run 1.0mm+ bores on 205 blocks without problems. I know these are not turbo's but there litterally 100's of people running with a .5 bore.

my 200 block was on a 1mm oversize and it cracked the cyclinder wall ,
                              was only 420 bhp too
