Anyone running ggr lowering springs 22mm front/35mm rear?

Anyone running these springs? If so what do you think and got any pics of how the car sits?

No problems, was using standard shocks as well, just changed when Dunc offered me his gaz golds.

Have you got any side shots mate? just interested in the ride height. I assume it made it sit a bit flatter with being lowered more at the back than the front.

When I was looking on the GGR site there were 2 sets that lowered 22mm front/35mm back, one at the standard Ford rate, and one 20% uprated. Can you remember what you had on yours?

From memory I think they were the uprated ones (that was in 1998 thou), the ride was quite stiff and harsh but I did the bushes as well at the same time so that might not have helped.

Ahmed springs - they lower the car by the correct amount (10mm front / 20mm rear) and are perfect on these .

I just wonder whether I like it a bit lower Mike. Although I don't want a harsh ride. Although I think Paul Hales has Ahmeds on his car and that looks nice.

PS Meant to email you earlier, I'm going to order that 300mm rear brake conversion we talked about. I'll do the transfer tonight.

Lower the front too much and you'll put the roll centre underground which will make it understeer like a bitch .
