  • Battery charging?

Just wondering what method you lads use to keep the battery charged up do you start up every week or leave the car connected upto a trickle charger or do you disconnect the battery?

    Cheers Daz

i want one of those solar powered trickle chargers for the Jeep as it goes dead if i leave it for a couple of weeks

anyone know where to get them from, as Halfords dont stock them.

and please dont say Ebay, cant be arsed with that rubbish, then it being posted, not being home when they try to deliver, post office is burried in town with no parking so its £2 to park and walk a mile just to get an item a week later and stand there for an hour just to que for it
          and breathe!!

I've just got one of those Halfords ones. I like it because you can disconnect it without having to remove the terminals that go to the battery, it just unplugs half way down the wire. It's been fine for me and they're only £25. I have it on the car all the time when it's stood (which is nearly always).
