General Question - Travelling to the UK.....

Hi Guys,
I will be in the UK from the 10th of May for three weeks.......

Can anyone recommend any good places for me to visit for Cosworth parts. I have been trolling through the net the last couple of weeks and have found a number of places all over the country. It is hard to tell which places are retail shops, which ones do in fact have Cosworth parts on the shelf etc.

I only have limited time and are trying to weed out which places to go to and which ones are not worth it.

Below is a map of the area the wife is dragging me around sightseeing and visiting family. If you can recommend any places within the highlighted area, please let me know, will be greatly appreciated, a man can only handle so much sightseeing and rallies…… he needs some time out.

All so, if there are any meets happening, please let me know.

WoodFord Garage springs to mind, I believe thats in Devon.
Tremona Garage in Southampton is worth a call before you go as Rich will be able to sort you out wth pretty much anything and they have some sweeeeet cars there

I would try and get to the rsoc show at Anglesey on the 22 may will be a good day out for you I know it's not in tge circled area but will be worth traveling

new or used parts,engine parts body parts etc....thats quite a bit of an are to cover running round lol.

Mark, i will catch up with you before you go to the UK. will call you when i get home on tuesday evening. I have a lot of parts in a mate of mines garage, (in south wales) . I am looking at getting them sent back to OZ soon. Just outside your area. His Mrs works at ford (if i remember correctly) just incase you want some dealer parts (if still availible) Anyway will talk more later.

Also i will be watching the thread, as in september, i will be doing the exact same thing, may also need a hire car. (may just buy a cheep bunky off ebay before i go back and just trash that for 2 weeks)

Thanks Polaris....... just showed the better half where Anglesey is, that went done like a lead sink....lol. I guess I will not be making it there but thank you for informing me.

Mainly new aftermarket parts like alloy tanks, air filter, silicone hoses, dual fans, dump valve etc.

I found "Rapid Ford" in Dunstable last night on the net, they seem to have a lot of stuff. I am not sure if I can fit both Woodford Garage & Rapid Ford into the trip, is one better than the other or both just the same. I am hoping to be able to get 90% of the parts I want from one place rather than mail ordering it all from different places.
