I had the front brakes off my car over the winter. I bled the brakes this week and the front brakes bled just fine. However, when i opened the bleeder nipple on the rear calipers and had a helper depress the brake pedal, no fluid came out and the pedal remains firm!
Also, with the nipple on the rear calipers tight, when the brake pedal is depressed, it does not clamp either of the rear calipers. The fronts function correctly however.
What am I missing here? Is the proportioning valve plugged or something weird? Anyone ever have this problem?
Help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Chad
