Any Oil filter modine experts, Question

I have loads of modines here fella, same as any ford item. Im pretty sure they are the same as the oil filter. Can buy a cheap one from carparts for £3. If your really stuck ill send you one i have here.

Cheers Jano, but why are the Modine seal(like the one ive got) Red, but the oil filter seal is black?

looked at my modine and it hasnt got a seal on it jon
if its an oil filter one you need i will have a look for you

i have had a look at various seals i have jon and non fit so i have made 2 up for you from a seal kit i have at work so i will take em with me to anglesey who do you want me to pass em onto or are you coming yourself

It looks like ive received a 2wd seal, Graham Goode have sorted me out with a 4x4 seal though

Just dragging up an old thread - i needed a seal for mine to complete the build (2wd) so i have taken the seal out of a new pattern filter - fitted into my modine (little stretch) then nipped up to 35nm - does that sound like it will be fine or should i remove and fit one from GGR for £11.11 posted?

I'm having exactly the same problem.

I've got the Red seal and it's way to big.

I've got the oil filter seal and it's to big to fit in the groove.

I've been to Ford and they laughed at me

I have managed to buy all of the seals new apart from this one....

Just go to Graham Goode mate they have remanafactured the 4x4 modine seals

I got the seal that goes between the block and modine from Graham Goode. The seal between the modine and arm and the seal under the nut from ford.
