            Very nice!

I also got a crappy sunroof that i would like to swap out to carbon.
got any pictures while it was performed?
You are as old as you feel.

It's better to do something, rather doing nothing.

Is the mould oversized especially for going over the top or did you have to bodge it as its meant to be stand alone?

I can see why you are concerned but if you see the explanations in the other thread i think you are worrying over nothing. Not forgetting your fitting a roof lining so even if you did roll it loads the carbon fragments wouldnt get in the cabin anyway.

But as long as your happy. Looks good!!!

Looks good though, can you get carbon 1/4 panels , just to complete the job.
not sure of the exact figures on the escort but even if you went for same thickness carbon/kevlar as the original skin it would still save a few kilos on the skin itself (remember its thin steel anyway so not massively heavy) as like for like the carbon would be a bit lighter (plus stronger).

The big saving on such a car is the removal of the sunroof assembly and all its associated reinforcement that saves a nice chunk of weight when fitting a carbon roof.
