  • escos wrc setup question

This might sound a dumb question to some but reading on the net and looking at some cars that run wrc spec on the road what is the best setup for road use, gravel or tarmac as i see both being used on what i have found

What do you mean cradles, hubs, tca's,? Shocks/springs?

yes jimbo it will be running the 9097069 tarmac/gravel cradle but its mainly the hubs and suspenion setup that has me confused as to which is best for road use.

Tarmac, as you will obv want it reasonably low so keeping the geometry right you'd be best with the Tarmac set up

Which iirc does consist of gravel uprights with wrc tca and x member for front

And gravel uprights with Tarmac beam on back

Correct me if im wrong, but if u use the wrc rear cradle u have to modify the upper crossmember wher the diff bolts ,but if u use the tarmac beam u dont as it uses the original mounting points,

as far as i no, the diff bolts to the cradle, then the cradle bolts to the pick up points x 4 , these are linked to all cage points . i dont think theres any need for the rear diff mount like grpa rear beam, but i could be rong.

              thanks steven

Wat i meant steven was as u can see in the pic above u dont use the original diff bolt holes but the crossmember has to cut and rewelded like above but im not sure if thats only to suit the big diff or wat

I think this is only done jason to fit the big diff
