  • Hi Everyone

    Hi Guys,

I've just joined the forum and thought I'd introduce myself.

    Name's Carson from Glasgow.

Hoping to try and find out some info before venturing out to buy my first Escort Cosworth. I currently own an E92 M3 which I love and hopefully I'll be keeping along with the cossie.

Look forward to hearing from you all

    Carson

The M3 an amazing car but a bit too refined if you know what I mean. I had an SMG E46 M3 before that and to be honest I preferred the E46.

I want to get something that I can modify and get my hands dirty with. I've seen a couple of cars advertised on Pistonheads, but I won't be in the position to buy for maybe 2 months or so.
I'm planning to go for a big turbo with the aim of 500 bhp eventually. Ideally I'd like to get a car as close to standard as possible and then modify it the way I want.

Just reading through some of the posts on here and seems to be a very friendly and usefull site.

I hear what your saying mate. It's going to be a long term achievment, I plan on keeping the car for a long time, so I'll take my time and find the right car.
I would be willing to take a car with a damaged engine as long as the bodywork was good and a genuine car.

I'll probably enjoy the car for a while before going mad with the mods.
