What colour ????

Hi guys, I know it sounds strange but I really can't decide what colour to have my escos, at the minute its imperial blue but with a roofskin change, composite bumpers, bonnet, bootlid, spoiler & doors theres not going to be much blue left ..........

I've already decided to paint the engine bay and interior silver as I can get paint from work and do it in stages as I work on the cage and interior fab work....Also can do engine bay in my garage with a compressor and spray gun....exterior is different has to be flawless.

The cars going to be used mainly for goofing around on the roads with a good helping of trackdays, hoping for 450-500bhp and RWD

I like the really mean look something I dont thinks going to be easy with imperial blue.....probably require a darker colour.

It doesnt have to be a ford colour; I'm not fussed about keeping it original as its a built up car anyhow.....

So your suggestions please....and pics if possible (esp of non-ford coloured escos)

I was viewing images of cars on the net yesterday and came across a similar dark grey colour, gunmetal etc... kind of like mustang elanor colour....think it could look good if done properly.

was originally on the old e30 325i sports. not sure if the new e46 m3 is that shade or not?

I just searched matt/flat black and now i'm undecided again....I have been like this for 9 months since I bought the shell.





Matt black, bit chavvy and probably not cool anymore but Never seen an Escos done in matt black and would look mean like i'm after.....just dont know how easy it wouldbe to care for the paint..

Do you want the full lid or just the glass, As originally I thought it was a normal mk5 lid but upon closer inspection looks like a gen cossie lid so make me an offer if you want the bootlid.
